E-Tube Project updated to 5.4.2 and new firmware

Shimano has just updated E-Tube Project V5 / Professional to version 5.4.2.

The changes are:

• New features
• A 46-30T front chainring combination can now be set in the synchronized shift settings for FD-RX825.
• Fixed the issue where the semi-synchronized shift setting cannot be configured correctly.
• The issue where the service report could not be printed out has been fixed.
• Fixed identified issues.

New Firmware

Two new firmware files were released, for components named 'OtherBatteryDisplayName' and 'OtherProductDisplayName'. So erm... future products.

If you're testing these, or are riding prototypes, install the firmware updates.

For the rest of us... there's nothing new here, unfortunately.
