Ultegra R8100 (2021)

When Shimano announced the 12-speed DURA-ACE R9200 groupset, they also announced Ultegra R8100. Just like its DURA-ACE cousin, this groupset is all about 12-speed, wireless shifting. Also, for the very first time, Shimano have produced an Ultegra Power Meter.

Dura-Ace R9200 (2021)

Shimano's first ever 12-speed Di2 groupset, DURA-ACE R9200 was announced September 1st, 2021. It features wireless shifting, improved disc brakes, and of course, 12-speed cassettes.

EP8 E-MTB EP800 (2020)

Announced August 31 2020, the EP8 groupset is Shimano's new flagship system. It is quieter and more efficient than the previous E-MTB groups. It also features enhanced range and a higher maximum torque. It uses the next-generation SD300 E-Tube wire interface.

GRX RX815 (2019)

Introduced early in 2019, GRX is Shimano’s first Gravel group set. It delivers good performance both on the road and off the beaten path. GRX and Road share the same 'category as far as Di2 is concerned, meaning you can mix GRX derailleurs with Road Di2 derailleurs, but not with MTB derailleurs.

Released in 2016, the Shimano R9150 (rim brake) and R9170 are described by Shimano as system engineering at its peak. Each of the components magnifies the qualities of the others for an unparalleled level of performance.

XTR M9050 (2014)

Ultegra 6870 (2013)

The 6870 Di2 groupset was released in 2013 and is “pro-proven” as it is a direct trickle down from Shimano’s DURA-ACE group. It stands for state-of-the-art technology, proven in pro races, the technology used in ULTEGRA 6800 series with 11-speed, advanced designed brakes, latest chain treatment and more.

Dura-Ace 9070 (2012)

First generation 11-speed DURA-ACE components are still found on plenty of bikes. They're compatible with all other 11-speed road and gravel groupsets.

Ultegra 6770 (2011)

Ultegra 6770 was Shimano's first Ultegra Di2 groupset. It was launched in 2011 and supports 2x10 speed gearing.

Dura-Ace 7970 (2009)

In 2009 Shimano released the DURA-ACE 7970 series - the company's first Di2 groupset. It uses a five-wire protocol and plug and therefore none of these components are compatible with any of the other Di2 series - you simply cannot plug them in.
