Check Di2 shifter battery levels and replace them
12-speed wireless shifter batteries last about two years. This page shows you how to check the battery level on your shifters, and replace the batteries.

This ST-RX715-R is a cheaper version of the ST-RX827, meant to be used with 1x12 wireless Di2.
It comes in a right hand side version only, there is no left version. No left version with functional Di2 buttons, that is. There are brake only left hand versions of this shifter.
While it has GRX branding, it is actually more similar to the 12-speed 105 shift lever: ST-R7170. It has *no satellite shifter ports, no hood button, and two shift buttons.
Like the 105 Di2 shifters, these 1x12 GRX units take two CR1632 batteries. They should last for about 3.5 - 4 years.
Let's say you just bought a 105 Di2 bike, but really want the hood buttons or the ability to connect satellite shifters (SW-RS801-T / SW-RS801-S / SW-RS801-E).
For example, because you want to be able to shift from your clip-on aero bars.
These shift levers don't support any of those, but don't worry - regular 12-speed Dura-Ace, GRX and Ultegra shifters work just fine.

Updating 12-speed Di2 R9270/R8170/R7170 shift levers is not as straightforward as you might think. You need either the SM-PCE02, or connect the levers to the rest of the system using an EW-SD300 wire.

Ever wonder what those LEDs mean on your 12-speed rear derailleur, or 11-speed junction box? And what the button does exactly? Find out more here.
