The SW-M9050-R (right) and SW-M9050-L shifters weigh about 66g each - that is 30g lighter than the cheaper XT shifters. Most setups nowadays will only make use of a right shifter - 1x setups have grown in popularity rendering the left shifter obsolete.

You can use these shifters with any Di2 bike - even road or gravel bikes.
